Prof. Albert Einstein was the greatest scientist of the 20th century and probably of all times. His contributions to science became the foundations of modern physics, and their technological implications are apparent in all aspects of our daily life. He is known as the founding father of the theory of relativity, which revolutionized the concepts of time, space and gravity and is our basis for understanding the structure and evolution of the universe. Prof. Einstein won the Nobel Prize for his contribution to theoretical physics and especially for his discovery of the law of the photoelectric effect.
